Amigas is written and illustrated by Ana Jarén and published by Lunwerg, following a year in a woman’s life through the friendships around her.

The project is especially personal because text and image come from the same authorial voice. Through familiar interiors, conversations, celebrations and quiet moments, Ana explores female friendship as something built through ordinary time rather than only major events. The illustrations turn small gestures and shared spaces into the emotional architecture of the book.
