Travel illustration by Ana Jarén for El Mundo’s special issue on Mexico, created around the country’s role as guest nation at FITUR 2026 in Madrid.

The commission combines editorial illustration and travel imagery, building a visual portrait of Mexico for a special newspaper supplement. Rather than treating destination imagery as a generic postcard, the artwork uses Ana’s detailed, hand-drawn language to create an inviting cultural narrative connected to the FITUR context.
