A large-scale illustrated vinyl installation created by Spanish illustrator Ana Jarén for Lululemon’s Madrid store, featuring people enjoying sport around the city.

For Lululemon’s store on Calle Serrano 40, Madrid, Ana created two large-format vinyl pieces measuring 6 × 3 metres and 2 × 3 metres. Designed specifically for the space, the illustrations transform a large section of the store’s walls into a colourful scene inspired by movement, sport and everyday life in Madrid.

The illustrations feature diverse people practising different sports and outdoor activities, placed in recognisable settings around the city. Ana’s characters interact with their surroundings, creating a lively composition that connects Lululemon’s active lifestyle with the urban environment of Madrid.

The project shows how hand-drawn illustration can be adapted to an architectural space and reproduced at a very large scale. Instead of being a standalone image, the artwork becomes part of the environment, using characters, colour and composition to create an engaging visual experience within the store.

This type of project is an example of Ana’s work with brands and commercial spaces, adapting her illustration style to different formats, surfaces and creative briefs. She works on commissioned illustration projects for brands, campaigns, products and spaces, bringing a personal, hand-drawn approach to each collaboration.
