A one-of-a-kind plate illustrated by Ana Jarén for Russell Hobbs’ Plates for Change campaign with Action Against Hunger, celebrating food and shared wellbeing.

The international initiative commissioned artists in Spain, the UK, Germany and Poland to design unique plates highlighting the importance of nutrition. Ana’s piece is inspired by Action Against Hunger’s work and depicts a shared meal as a symbol of hope, connection and wellbeing, inviting reflection on the value of healthy, accessible food. The finished plate was donated for a charity auction, with proceeds supporting Action Against Hunger’s programmes against hunger and malnutrition. The project brings illustration into a functional object while using an everyday domestic ritual — gathering around food — to communicate a wider social message.
