In this exhibition, Ana Jarén presents the original hand-painted illustrations of her books Escritoras and Almudena, books that bring us closer to some of the most relevant Spanish women authors.

From Emilia Pardo Bazán to Carmen Martín Gaite, from María Lejárraga to Elena Fortún and Carmen Laforet, Escritoras is the moving story of women who found in writing and friendship the strength to believe in themselves, written by Carmen G. de la Cueva and illustrated by Ana Jarén.

Almudena is the first illustrated biography of Almudena Grandes: a beautiful tribute to one of the most beloved authors of Spanish literature, written by Aroa Moreno Durán and illustrated by Ana Jarén.

The exhibition is completed with a space dedicated to Ana Jarén's other works, what she paints when she is not illustrating books, a journey that includes from personal work to posters, illustrations for magazines or products, among others.
