Original Artwork Kiss - Ana Jarén

A couple kiss while lying together on an orange checked sofa beside an open window at night. One figure leans over the other, hands resting around face, neck and waist, while a desk lamp, patterned wall and city buildings outside make the scene feel like a private moment caught inside a lived-in apartment.

Because this Kiss feels domestic rather than public. The sofa, lamp and open night-time window frame the couple inside an ordinary room, giving the original the warmth and privacy of a moment that was never meant to become a pose.
