Original Artwork Beach TV - Ana Jarén

A beach day becomes wonderfully surreal as two women lounge on flower-patterned deckchairs beneath fringed parasols. One balances a retro television showing colour bars across her lap while the other cools herself with a handheld fan; a pink flamingo float, striped towels, picnic basket and watermelon turn the sand into a dense little world of summer objects.

  • Why you’ll like it

Because Beach TV captures the excess and nostalgia of a long summer day in one image. The old television, fan, flamingo float and picnic clutter make the original funny and instantly readable, while the layered patterns give it the kind of detail that keeps rewarding a closer look.
