Original Artwork Duvets I - Ana Jarén

A Black man laughs with an American football held to his chest while blue flowers and leaves cover nearly every part of the image. His printed shirt dissolves into the duvet-like background, making the exuberant portrait feel joyful, tactile and wrapped in pattern.

  • Why you’ll like it

Because Duvets I proves that an ordinary subject can hold enough character to deserve a wall of its own. The original keeps every small hand-drawn irregularity, giving the scene a presence that a reproduction cannot fully repeat.
