Original Artwork Leaf me alone II - Ana Jarén

A woman relaxes beneath an enormous orange autumn leaf, reading a newspaper whose visible headline asks “ALL WRONG?”. Wrapped in a scarf and striped clothes, she appears completely absorbed in the page despite the exaggerated leaf canopy above her, turning reading outdoors into a dryly humorous image of finding a little shelter from the world.

  • Why you’ll like it

Because Leaf me alone II combines a cosy autumn scene with a small joke about the news we choose to read while trying to switch off. The giant leaf, scarf and newspaper make the original visually playful, but the “ALL WRONG?” headline gives it an extra layer of contemporary humour.
