Original Artwork Washbasin - Ana Jarén

A woman curls herself into a pink washbasin, surrounded by mirrors, bottles and the everyday clutter of a tiled bathroom. A small note reading “Sunday” reinforces the slow, private mood, while the impossible pose turns a familiar self-care space into a humorous scene about retreating from the world and fitting yourself into the smallest possible corner.

  • Why you’ll like it

Because Washbasin makes a mundane bathroom fixture unexpectedly intimate and funny. The curled-up pose, Sunday note and toiletries turn the original into a very recognisable image of wanting to hide away for a while — a private mood rendered with plenty of humour.
